CREATIVE BREW
Are you a neurodivergent* artist living in rural West Wales?
Would you like to hang out with other neurodivergent artist folks in a relaxed and informal way?
*You do not need a formal diagnosis to come along.
Hello, I’m Karn (they/them), I am looking to meet folks and create mutually supportive spaces for connection and creative practice tending. The vision for Creative Brew is to grow a supportive community for creative parallel play/body-doubling, chat, co-working, and soundboarding to help us connect, root and flourish.
You are warmly invited to join me in this newly formed in-person and digital space to share your creative practice in an informal way, and explore the kind of future you would like to see in our community.
Following the hugely successful inaugural Brew-times, our next hangouts will be held on Mondays between 5-7 pm through November, with alternating weeks between online and in-person sessions at SPAN Arts, Narberth. See the full date list below.
You are warmly invited to attend any /all of the dates are are welcome to join for as little or long as you want.
If you cannot make these dates but would like to come to future meet ups, please fill out the form to keep in touch.
Offering this space is an experiment in local community building, after the initial two sessions were funded by A-N Artist Bursary.
These sessions are offered on a contribute-what-you-can, no questions asked, sliding scale basis of £5 - £15. This is to help keep this accessible while supporting my time and energy in coordinating and hosting.
Not being able to contribute financially does not exclude you from joining. Contribution options are via Buy Me a Coffee, PayPal or in cash at an in-person gathering.
☼ Diolch yn fawr iawn. ☼

About me + the project:
I am a queer, transdisciplinary artist and facilitator born, raised and returned to South Pembrokeshire following an ADHD diagnosis in 2023 in my late 30s. I currently make work in relationship with the outer and inner landscapes, using gathered materials and working seasonally. I am interested in folklore, ritual, spirituality, community organising and mutual aid, grief, hope, and what it is to relate to self and other. This has manifested as botanical and earth-based work on paper, writing, performance, installation and other things. I have recently received a second round of ‘Creative Steps’ funding from Arts Council Wales, and the first two Creative Brew sessions were funded by A-N’s 2025 Artist Bursary.
